Chickenpox is a communicable disease and being spread by virus i.e. varicella - zoster virus.
Sudden onset of fever
In the earlier stage blister type of rashes occurs in the form of successive crops.
After the blisters stage spots are formed.
Spots or blisters usually appears on the body, face and scalp and then on the limb.
Method of spread
It spread from person to person.
It also spread by sneezing and coughing by infected person.

It usually takes 14-21 days from date of contact.
(the time during which an infectious agent may be transferred directly or indirectly Usually from 2 days before spot appear to 5 days after the first crop of blisters
What to do
Take medicines for control fever as doctor recommend.
Prevent from scratching.
Use calamine lotion, baking soda paste, tepid baths with oatmeal may help to relieve itching.
Avoid child to send in school, daycare playground etc .when spots first appear until 5 days.
Chickenpox vaccine is available, contact to your doctor
Prevent from direct contact with infected person.
