Stomach infection - Pinworms (parasite)
Pinworm is caused by a small, thin, white or round warm called enterobius vermicularis. Also known as enterobiasis ,seat worm infection, thread worm infection or oxyuriasis.
a) Itching in the anal area.
b) Restless sleep.
d) Occasionally, secondary infection of scratches.
Method of spread
People become infected by unknowingly ingesting pin worm eggs that can be found on contaminated hands and surfaces such as bed lines, towels, clothing, toilets, eating utensils etc.
By eating contaminated food, under cooked food.

Life cycle is 2-6 weeks from date of contact.

As long as eggs are produced by adult worms. Eggs may remain infected for about 2 weeks in the environment.
a) Consult with doctors for drug treatment.
b) Clean living areas daily.
What to do
May need to treat the whole family at the same time.

a) Promote good hygiene and hand washing before eating and preparing food.
b) Maintain clean toilet facilities.
